ABOUT unity window & door

Unity Window & Door was established in 2007 by Jeremy Marcum. The company has connections with several local and regional suppliers, and works with customers in all stages of the process of replacing windows and doors to their homes.  In 2012, Jeremy began offering other professional carpentry services including: painting, trim carpentry, wood restoration, deck building and repair, and other general carpentry.

This hybrid business model is what sets the company apart from retail stores and traditional window companies. There is no middle man! As a carpentry business, we are positioned to bid jobs as labor-only, to measure and facilitate customer purchase of products, to provide reputable and high quality products through our suppliers, or any combination in between.

We offer an excellent warranty to ensure your long-term satisfaction.

Unity Window & Door is local, small and green! When possible we donate reusable materials from work we perform (e.g., removed windows, door panels, hardware, trim, etc.) to be used in local projects.

We are not limited to just windows and doors. See the Services page for more details.

About Jeremy Marcum

Jeremy Marcum is a southern Indiana native. He attended the University of Southern Indiana and Indiana University-Bloomington and graduated with a degree in Telecommunications and an area certificate in Film Studies.

Upon buying his first home at age 23, Jeremy began creating home improvement projects for himself. After several years, he quickly realized his curiosity for carpentry, building science, and design exceeded his desire to make corporate videos.

A drive to become self-employed led to field experience as a subcontractor in the general carpentry and then window and door installation markets. Within a year and a half, Jeremy had his own business and a year later was subcontracting for one of the top two retail stores as well as a couple of traditional window companies.

Jeremy’s hobbies include playing guitar, music composition, running, boxing and mixed martial arts, gardening and permaculture, trail hiking, and biking.  He enjoys books, blogs, audios, and podcasts focused on human potential and business growth.
